Writing Articles - How to Generate Fresh Ideas

By Robert McNesby

If writing articles is your way of creating traffic, you know the importance of building volume. However, it is not always easy to come up with fresh ideas for articles. But there are resources you can use to help get you over this hump.

Here are some beneficial suggestions on how to increase your writing production:
If you are writing articles for affiliate marketing, go to the search engines and look up that term. You will find whole sites dedicated to this subject with hundreds of articles. There is no suggestion here to copy anyones work, but read through them. Not only will you learn more about affiliate marketing, they will also trigger ideas for you to write about.

Since you may already have written your own substantial number of articles, go back through your work. You will be surprised how an article you’ve written might contain a paragraph or two that creates a spinoff article you hadn’t previously thought about.

If you are into internet marketing, at some point you will probably have ordered ebooks to learn about your subject(s) in order to become an expert in your field. There are reams of material in those books to write about. You will find writing about the same subject(s), since you probably have your own niche, will have an entirely different spin than the author.

On the subject of internet marketing, there are many related components. This will provide you a copious amount of material to write about. For instance, you will probably learn about websites, list building, auto-responders, pay per click advertising, ClickBank, Commission Junction, and others. You will have a variety of subjects on which to write about. At the same time you will become very knowledgeable in your field.

Keep in mind if you are writing articles in volume, focus on the main points of your topic and try to make them as clear as possible to your reader. By doing so, you can keep your articles short, somewhere in the neighborhood of 350-450 words. This will generate a larger volume of articles in a shorter period of time.

Article Writing and Making Money - By Raymond Nesa

Writing article is perhaps one of the most common ways to make money online. It is fun and it relatively simpler. Let us have a look at some of the tips about online writing.

• Always focus on the title. It should be unique enough to attract readers to read the whole article. And yes, the title should also have relevant keywords.

• Every one has his own style. But your style must be friendly and the article should be interesting enough to make them read the whole article. If you come off as boring and arrogant, you can say good bye to your readers.

• Always find out a niche for yourself and concentrate on it. The more you write on your niche topic, the better response you would get. The more you get published, the more you would be respected and that would ultimately earn you money.

• Writing is good but you should also be able to rewrite what you have written. If you are a professional ghost writer, it is all right but if you are not, you should always ask for the right to re-sell about 50% of your work.

• And never forget to have fun. Have a day off. Write about something you like. It could be poetry or an article for some cause dear to you.

There are two things that you would need to be successful in the field of online writing. Writing skills is but obvious but perseverance is also required. And once you gain fair amount of experience you could also try for newspapers and magazines.

Article Writing- How to Know What Your Market Wants to Read When Writing Articles - By Jeff Herring

The best way to write articles is to write articles you already know your market wants to read.
Now, how do you do that?

OK, I'm going to teach you a very high-level marketing concept right now. Get your fingers and keyboards ready, or your pens and pencils ready-- and those of you that know me may know I'm being a little playful right now.

The Secret Method to Find Out What Your Readers Want to Know
OK, the way to find out what your ideal client wants is to ask. Ask them. As Mark Victor Hansen says, you have to A-S-K to G-E-T.

Several weeks ago, I think it was back in February on a Friday, I sent out an email to my Article Guy lists - everybody who signed up for this kind of stuff with The Article Guy asking, "What's your most important question about article writing and marketing?" and you sent them in, in droves you sent them in!

From those emails I took the seven most asked questions and did an entire call based on it, an entire call just based on asking. I am still responding to some of those questions, still writing articles about it, and could create a whole product just out of those things.

So, in order to meet the needs of your market, you need to know what's going on with your ideal clients, what their pain is, what they struggle with.

You know, I've got to keep in mind while I live, eat and breathe this stuff that there are some folks out there who still cannot imagine writing their first article, that are scared to death to make that first article submission because they are afraid of getting rejected. There's folk out there who could never imagine making money from their articles. Those are the things I keep in mind as I write so I can address those needs and talk to those people.

So, you want to do your market research, you want to know what is going on with your ideal client. Then use that knowledge when you are writing your articles.
